September and November 2022

Saturday 12/3/22
We had a great morning today serving the poor downtown in Grand Rapids. It was cold and windy yet we still served near 7 pots of coffee, plenty of chicken noodle soup (serving more than usual), hot cocoa, and handed out a lot of clothing. While we definitely seemed to have less people visiting us than usual, we ran out of soup quickly and most the cold weather gear we had. It was a fruitful time and we had some new faces helping out - thanks to all of you. We will be doing things a bit differently next meetup - more fellowship and then going out versus serving at the park like we have been. Saturday 11/19/22
It was a cold one with a decent amount of snow this morning (mid 20's and roads were snowy)! We were positioned closer to mel trotters to better serve people since the park was pretty desolate. Here is a brief on this am.

Not sure the number of people we served, but we got to love on a bunch of people. We served beef stew, hot cocoa, 5 pots of coffee, and handed out some waters. We also had some winter clothing to share. With a remnant squad of 4 serving, we still prayed for a bunch of folks for various needs - a lot of people trying to find housing outside of Mel’s, too. 2 of special note that I was a part of praying for were Reggie and Debbie (not sure of Debbie’s first name). Reggie joined some of us at streetlight for a bit over an hour before we went out. We were able to get him new socks, boots, load him up on coffee, stew (and he got a short nap) and we prayed for leg spasms that left when prayed for. Debbie, some of us prayed for her knee which was in pain and she recognized the presence of God, but we did not see a full manifestation of healing. For both, and all, we declared that Jesus is Lord and to give thanks to Him for everything. Was a pleasure and honor to be there with y’all!

Saturday 11/5/22
Hi all - brief breakdown of some of what happened at the park today. We got to love on a good amount of people - got Mickey d’s (60 sausage McMuffins)and served water and coffee (6 pots). We also had some winter clothing to share. We loved all and got to pray for some! I had many people coming up and was serving out the back of the minivan until backup arrived - busy time. We prayed for a bunch of folks for various needs and ailments - honestly, I don’t know the details of everything that took place so will not post anything in specific. Looking forward to next outing - thanks for all that could join today!

Saturday 10/15/22

Hi all - brief breakdown of some of what happened at the park today. We got to love on a bunch of people - got Mickey d’s and served, water, coffee, and hot cocoa. Adam brought some clothing to share too. We loved all and got to pray for some! Two notables from my end on the prayer side were Cory and Will. We had 2 words of knowledge for Cory and he was shocked how we knew (God is alive my friend!) and we saw his pain leave for each - back and knee/calf areas. Will had a variety of things going on and sciatica shot through his leg and left when prayed for. There was more but these were the most notable from my perspective. So many people loved and sharing Jesus which is the core of it all.

Saturday 9/17/22

Brief debrief of yesterday: Was a fruitful, quick time, down at the park. Were 4 of us serving - served pancakes, cookies, sausage McMuffins, coffee, water, and orange juice.

Notable from my mind:
-All were loved to the glory of God in Jesus name.
-We provided interview clothing to a man.
-Pants and socks to another man who requested it before.
-Some other clothing was handed out as needed (socks and some shirts)
-A few people had prayers for addiction to leave - heroin, alcohol, and other types. No wild manifestations. We need to talk to people more about this thing and make time for focused prayer in the future I think.
-Had a woman with pain in her legs and the pain all left, she was praising Jesus!
-Prayed for others for various needs - housing, jobs, etc…really focused on them growing in knowing Him as the prayer.

May 2022

Saturday 5/7/2022 As a group we prayed and after having some time for fellowship, went out in search of what the Lord showed us during our prayer time. Here are a couple testimonies from the day:

Had the store 'Meijer' come up with a very specific location in the store for us to find our woman. Saw a picture of an black woman with an afro up in a bun on top of her head. Diabetes was the ailment that came up and we felt led to share that she should continue in pursuing the Lord in her life. We ended up finding her and her 2 children - she was weeping saying how she was praying to the Lord about things. Her daughters were amazed at what was taking place based on verbal response and look on their faces. We prayed, things took place, and we encouraged her to go have the diabetes checked out and to continue pursuing Jesus in all things.

Another group had a location in downtown Grand Rapids across from Degage highlighted to them. They headed down there and met a woman that the Lord highlighted to them. The woman said she was an agnostic but the group had an opportunity to pray for her. They walked around some more and found others to pray for, as well. Some new connections with folks and another ministry was made down there which will hopefully be fruitful in the future.

April 2022

Friday 4/22/2022 A couple testimonies from my friend were sent over - here they are:

Testimony 1: I got checked in to my hotel and came up to my room and was having difficulty with the key working. I went back down to the front desk and a different lady redid the key. I came up to my room again which was on the third floor and a little bit of a walk so I was getting my exercise. I still could not get the key to work so I went back to the front desk. I spoke with the lady who was the one that checked me in and she redid the key again and said that she would come up to the room with me. We hadn’t even got very far and she said that she couldn’t take the stairs ever since she had back surgery. We got in the elevator and I told her that I did not believe in coincidences. We got to my room and what was funny was the room I was trying to open wasn’t even the right room. I got to pray for that lady in the hallway. It turns out she’s born again. I went back downstairs with her and while we were in the elevator she said she was feeling chills all over and she knew that the Holy Spirit was working.

Testimony 2: I went into that store. I was wearing my TLR born-again shirt. There was a young man who worked there that commented that he liked my shirt. I then asked him if he knew what it meant to be born again? He began sharing his testimony with me and after talking for a few minutes I asked him if there was anything that he needed healing for and he said no. We continued talking and then he said oh I know something. He said that there are times when he has these really bad thoughts that he knows they’re not his thoughts.

I took his hand and I began commanding anything that’s not of God to go. His eyes were rolling back in his head. There were no other manifestations. I got done and continued with my shopping. He came and found me a few minutes later and said that something had happened that he Felt free.

Thursday 4/14/2022 Testimony from friend: When I left my house this morning I was fervently praying. I was asking God for divine appointments today. I prayed for many other things as well. I want to a store near me. I prayed for a guy that had tingling in his body that doctors didn’t know what was causing it. After I commanded healing he said that he didn’t know if it was just in his head but the tingling was gone. I prayed for a couple of other people and then this lady and I started talking and it turned out that she had also been praying for a divine appointment. As we talked and then prayed for each other we knew that God had brought us together.

Tuesday 4/12/2022 Testimony from friend: I was just talking with a friend from New Jersey. We talk every two weeks. Towards the end of our conversation she always prays for me. This time when she was praying I had my eyes closed and I was getting a picture of the back of her head and neck. When she got done praying I asked if she has had anything going on physically. She said she’s been having headaches. I got to go ahead and command healing. By the time we were ready to end the phone call she said she was feeling better and had noticed a change in her eyesight

March 2022

Monday 3/28/2022 There has been a lot going on and I've been slack on posting things! Due to this, I'll post the events of yesterday as they are fresh in my brain right now.

More treasure hunting fun with my friend. I wanted to provide some clarity on what 'treasure hunting' is. In really simple terms, we ask for the Lord Jesus Christ to reveal people, places, things to us that He would have us to find. We then record by faith what we hear or see and then go try to find the treasures! So this time He shared:

Picture of woman with blond hair wearing glasses - had specific facial features as everyone does.
Heard stomach issues and when I asked what regarding the stomach, ovaries came to mind.
Meijer came to mind for a location to go to - and I had stuff to buy.
Saw a picture of yoda from star wars and another picture of kids Yoshi from Mario Brothers
Someone with mouth pain came to mind

So as we were getting ready to leave and I was refilling my tea, I looked at the worker and she had blond hair and was wearing glasses. I had actually prayed for her another time (migraines) and I asked her how she was doing and she confirmed that she has not had a migraine since we prayed. I showed her what I wrote down and she was a bit shocked and confirmed that she dealt with womanly issues with her ovaries. So we prayed for her and we all were blessed. We will have to check in on this in the future to see what changed - clearly the Lord is after her and people have been praying for her (or she has been asking for God to show Himself to her).

We then went to Meijer and a man was walking by and my friend said that is the guy with mouth pain -the man was NOT wearing a mouth guard or anything like that, but my friend felt the Lord highlighting him. So we approached him and sure enough, the man had recently had mouth surgery, but was not dealing with pain. So we prayed for him and I saw a picture of him preaching the gospel and his words being like fire, so we prayed about all the things we saw and heard and we all were greatly blessed.

As we were walking around the store picking up stuff we needed, my friend looked over and noticed a backpack in a cart with yoda on it. So we approached the man and my friend shared with him what he saw and we prayed for him - nothing in particular, but blessings over him and in his life. As we were walking away, we saw a young boy in another cart and he had on a face mask that had on it Yoshi from Mario Kart. We walked back and shared more with the man we prayed for and asked if we could pray for his wife and boy. The Lord revealed more for them as we were praying and we released what God gave us and let them be.

It was a great time out - like always! If you are a believer in Jesus Christ as your Savior, He is in you and empowers you in all you do. You can go out and do the same things we, and many other believers are doing to share the gospel message. If you are not a believer, He gives you life abundantly and every breath you breath is from Him. Every knee will bow to Him - will you do that willingly now or later - because once you see Him in His glory, I think it will be impossible to stand at all. He loves you more than you can imagine. Why don't you ask Him to show His love for you in a way that only you would recognize? Blessings upon you!

February 2022

Saturday 2/19/2022 Group meet up for fellowship and prayer time. While multiple things took place, initially one member of the group had information to share for all of us individually which he felt that the Lord was showing him, which was edifying to each of us. We also prayed for one member of the group - pain left and they were encouraged. We ended up heading to a store that we felt led to - Menards. Before hand we received words of knowledge so we began looking for the following:

Broken right arm in sling - looked like the arm was propped up.

While walking through the store we did not see anyone who had a cast on their arm. We did stop and ask the Lord if there was anything He had for a worker in the store- Kim - and we saw a picture of a heart being torn away - such that the heart was single and was being torn apart (Jesus talks about how marriage of man and woman make them one flesh - Mark 10:8-9) . We asked the woman if this made any sense to her and she said her husband of many years filed for divorce as he was having an affair with a younger co-worker of his. So the word was certainly applicable and we prayed healing and comfort over her situation and for her to grow in to deeper relationship with the Lord in and through this.

We left the store and a brother wanted to go next door to Target. Walking around we picked up a few things and while in the checkout noticed a woman with a sling on. So we approached her after she was done checking out and shared with her what we saw. She shared that she slipped on the ice coming outside her house and fell with great trauma. So we prayed over her and she was a fellow believer. Immediately she did not notice a difference; we told her to thank her Creator when she does.

Monday 2/7/2022 Had some fun treasure hunting this fine Monday evening! We met at a different location as we felt led and hit the grocery store near by - I had some things to pick up there. Some notable things we were shown to look for were (I left off the things we did not find as there were more on our list):

Woman with long black hair, pasty white complexion, 20's, tall and thin
Picture of a colorful fish
Received sympathetic pain in the shoulder and hand.
Migraine headaches

As we walked around the store, I noticed the woman that seemed to closely resemble 'Woman with long black hair, pasty white complexion, 20's, tall and thin' so we approached her and shared with her what the Lord showed us and she quickly said she was not religious and walked off very fast. So we prayed that the seed the Lord wanted to sow took root and continued through the store.

Walking down an aisle, a couple seemed to be slightly highlighted to us, but we kept going. The store had fish for sale so we went over there and noticed the couple we had seen. My friend approached them and asked if they had any prayer needs. We ended up having a really good conversation with the couple. We prayed a blessing over them and shared the love of God for them. The young man came to find us later in the store - right when we were praying for a lady who had hip issues - and exchanged numbers. Hoping he connects with my buddy.

As we continued going through the store, another group of people seemed to be highlighted to me, but we kept going. On second loop I mentioned something and my friend said - oh, there they are in front of us. So I walked up and started chatting and asked if either of them had shoulder or hand pain and her eyes got big and she asked how did we know - her husband had both of these issues. I asked if she commonly dealt with migranes and she confirmed she did. The Lord had a lot more in store for them though - they had recently went through a bunch of troubles with losing a home and living with her mom and more. So we were able to speak in to that and were richly blessed by having the opportunity to co-labor with God to touch these folks.

Saturday 2/5/2022 Group meet up for fellowship time. We did not head to the park, but spent some good time fellowshipping with one another. One member of the team received prayer for heaviness she was carrying (she physically could sense it in her chest and head). We prayed for her and Jesus took it away! Praise the Lord all mighty!

Tuesday 2/1/2022 Had to make a business phone call and when talking with Ruth on the other end of the line, I asked if there was anything I could pray for her about. She said her hip was hurting her. So I prayed over the phone and told all pain to leave and all damage that was done to her hip to be resolved. She stood up and confirmed that the pain was gone. We talked a little bit more and prayed for one another. Was a great call! Glory to God in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!

January 2022

Monday 1/24/2022 Another treasure hunt Monday! We met up, had prayed and been provided some guidance earlier in the day from the Lord, and went out with the following:

Caucasian woman, long brown hair, wearing glasses, tallish, and fights migrane headaches.
Home Depot store
Woman fighting with challenges as to whether God is real, and her daughter having issues in life.
Shoulder issues -rotater cuff injury

Right when I walked in to meet up, I noticed the lady working the counter was the person I had seen in the vision. So when I got up to pay I asked her if she struggled with migranes. She looked at me oddly and confirmed she did. I explained what God had shown me earlier in the day (since I wrote it all down with the specific time). She did say she did not have a migrane right then so I prayed for the migranes to not come back and spoke a blessing over her.

When we left I heard the Lord say shoulder issues - rotatror cuff injury. So we headed to Home Depot and while catching up and walking around my buddy noticed the woman he thought was maybe the daughter having an issue. She was quick to tell us she was involved in youth group and walked away quickly before we could say much more. So we continued walking and a gentleman asked us if we needed help. So I asked for the location of some wood and then just asked him if he had shoulder issues. He confirmed he did. So I sensed heavens presence strongly while praying. Shared with him the love of God and spoke a blessing over him. I asked if he sensed anything different and he said immediately his shoulder felt better when we prayed.

So we continued walking and a couple kind of stood out to both of us, but my buddy said let's go and see if we can pray for them as they were strongly highlighted to him. The older couple - especially the Dad - was wrestling with his daughter's divorce she was going through. So we prayed for that and then talked with them for a while and they were sharing how they had went to a healing service where they attend and were both healed of various things. Was a really goor time of fellowship in the middle of Home Depot!

Monday 1/15/2022 Met as a small group for fellowship and due to lack of numbers ,we did not serve food to the poor at the park. Serving the poor may pick up again in warmer weather. So during our meetup we definitely had a great time. Here are some highlights from our prayer time.

Carl - The pain in his foot left after prayer and we also discussed renouncing things from the past. There was a lot more that took place but too much to be typed out :-).
Laura - Pain from a fall she recently had was diminished after prayer.

Monday 1/3/2022 Another treasure hunting day with another friend of mine. We met up and prior to had some stores we had to go to and the Lord had provided a vision earlier in the day of:

Working at dunhams
Relationship issues - mom is who the Lord identified as her having issues with
Also, she had been asking the question ' Is God real?'

We walked in to Dunhams and immediately upon looking to the left I noticed the woman working the counter, but she did not have glasses on. My friend said, 'ask her if she has contacts on when we approach her.' So we strolled the fairly empty store briefly and when we went to approach her, she was working the counter in a long line of people who seemed to have swarmed the store! We waited briefly and when the customers left, walked up and I asked if she was wearing contacts. She looked at me strangly and said yes. At which point - while I was in the middle of checking out - I explained to her what took place earlier in the day and why we were there. I showed her what was written on my phone and that it was timestamped earlier in the day. She had a look of shock. I asked her if that made sense to her and she confirmed it did. We then shared with her the love that the Lord has for her and how He sees everything in her life and knows her very thoughts. We prayed for her and the things that the Lord brought up and left the store.

Saturday 1/1/2022 A couple of us celebrated 2022 with some treasure hunting to start off the new year! Here are a few highlights of the time out:

Juni - working register had knee issues and had fallen and had an upcoming surgery scheduled. I prayed brielfy for her - brief since the line was long and she was working - and had her check if there was a change at that time. She stated nothing different right then, but I encouraged her about the Lord's love for her and thanked her for her time.

Adni - She was highlighted to me and my prayer buddy, and my prayer buddy also felt a sympathetic pain in his shoulder/upper back. She identified as muslim and we shared why we approached her. She thought it was all quite interesting. We prayed for her shoulder and she checked it briefly, but then asked us if we needed any additional help! So we shared the love of God for her and went our way.
