Here you can find tips on etiquette before heading out - send me more if you have additional suggestions.

Tips on going out!

1. Do not sneak up on someone from the back.
2. Approach someone with only one extra person. If you are approaching two people, then three is fine. Be mindful of overwhelming people.
3. Fresh breath is nice - mints are your friend! :-)
4. Smile. You have good news to share so try to not look angry or constipated.
5. Making comments about an obvious problem is a good approach. For example, 'what happened to your foot?'
6. An appropriate compliment can open a conversation. For example, 'that is a really cool tattoo. What is it? Appropriate is key - notice comments to the opposite gender can be misunderstood very easily.
7. Telling someone that you took a class on a topic is a good entry point. For example, 'I recently learned about giving encouraging words. Can I practice on you?'
